The annual Heineken TransAtlantic Festival, a Rhythm Foundation production, returns to the North Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Ave.) on Miami Beach this weekend with another bold bill: Friday night has Colombia's Bomba Estereo (mashing cumbia, dancehall and surf guitar), left, and the funky horns of Brazil's Orquestra Contemporanea de Olinda on their first U.S. tour. On Saturday it's Vieux Farka Toure, son of Malian guitar legend Ali Farka Touré, and Miami-based reggae-rapping radicals Locos Por Juana. Shows begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance at transatlanticfestival.com or at Radio Active Records in Fort Lauderdale (1930 E. Sunrise Blvd., 954-762-9488). Tickets at the gate are $25; kids 12 and younger free. More info: 305-672-5202. 04/09/10
