Whether you're looking for a genuine cross-cultural experience or just something that evokes "now there's something you don't see every day," the Thursday, Feb. 3, concert by Huun Huur Tu at the Lincoln Theatre is for you.
The ensemble's concerts are based around the ancient Mongolian style of throat-singing, in which the singer produces two or three notes simultaneously. Huun Huur Tu augments this with traditional Tuvan (Tuva is a small central Asian republic) instruments and, more recently, Western instruments as well, including some electronic music.
Tickets are $11-$26. Call (614) 469-0939.
